It has a Shimano 7 speed internal hub with a built in drum brake, and a front cantilever brake. The internal hub allows gear changes while stopped, unlike a derailleur bike.
It should be low maintenance and the chain guard allows wearing practically anything while riding it.
The tires are Kevlar belted tires and have improved puncture resistance.
There are a couple of dents in the rear fender as shown in the picture.
